Continuing the weekly arguments that 2016 was not all bad, I’ve created a series of posts designed to exonerate the year. This is the fifth installment in that series.
A year ago this week I finished the Slow Yoga Series. This series is still available. You can find it in the Yoga category. I also went on the quite the writing jag. If the sixth and final volume in the Slow Yoga Series wasn’t itchy enough, I wrote quite the inflammatory post about not being sorry for a whole bunch of stuff. That bunch of stuff included drooling on myself at work. In front of people. I also drafted a strongly worded rebuttal to a fellow who tried to convince me that my birthday is one day all year I get to feel special. One day indeed. Click to indulge. If all that wasn’t enough I started the monthly highlight reels with a wrap-up of January’s wellness wins. I was willing to laugh at myself in 2016.
A year ago this week I wrote in response to Danielle’s question How have you changed?
Oof. I faced hard realities in 2016.
I know it was a tough year. I agree it was a tough year. 2016 might have been gruesome and gut-wrenching at times but it wasn’t all bad.
