I was whelmed with work yesterday and never got back to my frag post. The word I drew was sacred, one of my favorites. The lens didn’t focus the first time I tried my photo.
But I got it the second time. This would imply the second successful shot was the more sacred. Not so. The first attempt holds half the truth; the necessity of a longer pause to change or deepen focus.
The initial blur makes the clear view more relevant, rendering the process sacred rather than simply the result.
